Charity Turn2us has launched a 'Grant Search' tool to help people in need find potential grant opportunities. The grants, totalling over 1,400, aim to offer relief to those experiencing financial hardship.
It is important to note that these grants do not have to be repaid. However, there are certain criteria for eligibility, such as having a certain health condition. Turn2us guarantees that all information provided during the grant search will remain anonymous and will not be shared with any third parties.

Turn2us Charity's Grants Search Tool
The Grants Search tool is efficient and user-friendly. After answering a few questions, users are presented with a list of grants they could potentially apply for within minutes. Grant values vary significantly, ranging from £100 to £2,000.
These grants are funded by registered charities throughout the UK. They are based on the recipient's personal circumstances, such as their profession or state of health.
Eligibility and Application
The eligibility criteria for these grants are not restricted, and any individual can apply. Additionally, the charity provides support to individuals who are unable to claim welfare benefits due to their status in the UK. However, it is important to note that while Turn2us can show users what they could apply for, it cannot guarantee the receipt of a grant.
Payment methods are determined by each funding body. Grants can be provided in the form of cash, products or services, none of which need to be repaid.

Financial Benefits for Pensioners
Separately from the charity turn2us, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is set to implement a significant increase in state pension rates. UK pensioners are due to benefit from a substantial increase of up to £900 a year in state pension rates from 8 April 2024, in line with the government's triple lock promise.
