The offer is available to existing Anytime Delivery Saver members and to new customers who sign up for a plan before October 18, 2026. The promotion covers the period leading into the Christmas shopping season and continues into the New Year.

Tesco’s Whoosh service allows customers to order groceries and household items from local stores for delivery to their homes. According to The Sun, the service is designed for rapid grocery deliveries, with orders typically arriving within 20 to 30 minutes, while The Impartial Reporter states that delivery times can range from 20 to 60 minutes depending on availability.

Free Delivery Linked to Anytime Delivery Saver Membership

Under the new offer, customers who spend at least £25 on a Whoosh order will not pay the usual delivery charge. The standard Whoosh delivery fee is normally £2.99, while smaller orders under £15 can include a £2.50 charge, according to Express.

Existing Anytime Delivery Saver customers will receive the benefit automatically. New customers must subscribe to one of Tesco’s delivery plans by October 18, 2026, to qualify for the free Whoosh delivery period.

Tesco’s available plans include a 6-month option costing £7.99 per month and a 12-month option costing £6.99 per month. According to The Impartial Reporter, Tesco says the longer plan costs 13% less than purchasing two separate six-month subscriptions.

The membership also includes access to delivery and collection slots for regular online grocery shopping, along with priority access to Christmas and Easter booking slots. Tesco said customers can book these slots weeks in advance through the service.

Francesca Jones, Head of Whoosh at Tesco, said: “We’re always looking for ways to make shopping easier for our customers. By bringing these offers together, customers can enjoy the benefits of one membership across both their weekly grocery shop and those last-minute essentials delivered through Whoosh.”

Whoosh Availability and Limits of the Offer

The free delivery promotion applies only to eligible Whoosh orders and is subject to Tesco’s conditions. The service is available in selected areas, meaning customers need to check whether Whoosh operates in their location before using it.

According to The Impartial Reporter, the offer does not include Marketplace or F&F orders, and Tesco’s fair usage policy applies. The newspaper also reported that the promotion is intended to cover customers’ last-minute grocery needs during the Christmas period.

Tesco said that Whoosh now covers three-quarters of the UK, allowing more customers to access same-day grocery deliveries. The company also stated that Anytime Delivery Saver plans provide average savings of £176 on delivery and collection charges, based on its own calculations.

The supermarket’s Delivery Saver guarantee means customers receive coupons for the difference if they do not save on delivery charges through their subscription. The retailer offers 6 and 12-month plans, allowing shoppers to choose between different subscription lengths. For new customers, the main deadline is October 18, 2026. Those who sign up after this date will not be eligible for this specific free Whoosh delivery promotion.
