OVO Energy has opened a new Tesco Clubcard millionaire prize draw for customers enrolled in its Beyond loyalty programme. The competition gives one participant the chance to receive one million Tesco Clubcard points, which can be exchanged for £10,000 at Tesco or up to £20,000 through selected Tesco Reward Partners.
The free-entry draw runs for four weeks, from 24 August until Sunday 20 September 2026. Customers who want to enter must use the OVO app, access the Rewards Centre and answer a weekly question to collect entries.
OVO and Tesco Reopen Clubcard Millionaire Competition
The latest giveaway marks the third time OVO and Tesco have joined forces for the Clubcard millionaire competition. The winner will receive one million Tesco Clubcard points, with the value depending on how the points are used.
According to OVO, the points are worth £10,000 when spent directly at Tesco, while they can reach a value of £20,000 when exchanged with more than 100 Tesco Reward Partners. The competition is available to OVO Beyond customers, a free loyalty programme offered by the energy company.
Participants can increase their chances of winning by answering weekly questions during the competition period. Each correct answer provides 25 entries, allowing customers to collect a maximum of 100 entries across the four-week period.
George Penman, Director of Propositions at OVO, said the company was bringing back the draw to recognise customers involved with Beyond. “Whether you want to cover your weekly shop for a year or book a dream getaway with Tesco’s Reward Partners, head over to the OVO app to enter,” he said.
The previous winner of the competition described the prize as a significant change in their everyday spending. They said they had used the reward for food, clothes, homeware, plants and a weekend break with Tesco Reward Partners.
Customers Can Access the Prize Draw Through the OVO App
To enter the competition, OVO customers need to have access to Beyond through the company’s app. According to OVO, customers must have completed the required steps to use the programme, including having a smart meter, paying by Direct Debit and downloading the app.
The Beyond programme offers a range of rewards, including access to competitions, discounts with partner brands and opportunities linked to energy use. One of these features, called Power Move, allows customers to enter monthly prize draws by shifting electricity use away from peak times.
The Tesco Clubcard millionaire draw is one of the largest rewards available through the programme. The company said the competition is designed to give customers the opportunity to receive benefits while taking part in the Beyond scheme.
OVO has stated that entries must be submitted before the closing date of 20 September 2026. The winner will be selected after the competition period and will receive the one million Tesco Clubcard points included in the prize. The latest draw continues the partnership between OVO and Tesco, giving eligible customers another opportunity to take part in the Clubcard millionaire competition through the OVO app.
