Aldi has placed a three-per-person limit on one of its popular wine products as shoppers prepare for a temporary price reduction on the retailer’s Le Grand Poulet Rosé Magnum.
The restriction applies to the 1.5-litre bottle from August 27 to September 2, when the product will be available for £9.99. The bottle contains the equivalent of two standard wine bottles, making it a popular choice for gatherings, summer events and dinner occasions.
Aldi’s Larger Rosé Bottle Returns With A Limited-Time Offer
The Le Grand Poulet Rosé Magnum is described by Aldi as a light and dry rosé with a crisp finish. The supermarket highlights flavours including citrus fruits and red berries, presenting the bottle as a summer option designed for sharing.
At 150cl, the magnum format offers twice the volume of the standard 75cl Le Petit Poulet Rosé, which remains available for £6.29.
According to Liverpool Echo, the retailer has promoted the larger bottle as a value option for customers planning picnics, parties or meals with groups of guests. The three-bottle limit means shoppers will need to consider their purchases before the offer period ends.
Wine Influencer Highlights Aldi’s Latest Arrival
The product has also gained attention outside Aldi’s own promotions. Wine influencer Sam Caporn recently shared her reaction to the bottle on Instagram, describing the magnum as a “gorgeous” arrival and calling it “even more of a winner”.
Social media attention has helped drive interest in several supermarket products in recent years, particularly seasonal food and drink releases that become popular among shoppers.

The supermarket is offering one household the chance to receive free groceries for a year. The prize includes £800 worth of shopping every month, reaching a total value of £9,600, along with additional Specialbuys products worth £400.
Entries for the competition close on September 21 at 11:59pm, with the winner expected to be contacted by October 5, 2026.
Aldi has also shared its opening hours for the upcoming August bank holiday. Stores across England and Wales will operate from 8am to 8pm on Monday, August 31, while locations in Scotland and Northern Ireland will follow their usual schedules.

The supermarket has also released information about quieter shopping periods during the bank holiday weekend. Aldi said data from the previous year showed that 8am to 9am and 7pm to 8pm were among the quieter times for customers wanting to avoid busy periods.
