The recalled dessert was distributed to retail stores throughout the United States. Danone USA stated that no other So Delicious Dairy Free flavors, products, or codes are included in the recall.
The company said the issue was discovered through consumer complaints and that the FDA had been informed about the voluntary recall. According to the FDA, the reason for the announcement was the potential presence of foreign objects such as small stones and other hard objects in the product.
Danone USA is working with retail partners to remove affected pints from shelves. The company also said that unaffected products remain available and that products shipped going forward are not included in the recall.
