Two models of toddler tower stools sold through Amazon have been recalled in the United States after reports of tip-over, collapse, and entrapment hazards that could lead to serious injury or death. The recalls, announced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, affect more than 138,000 products from two separate manufacturers.
Parents and caregivers are being urged to stop using the recalled products immediately and keep them away from children. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), both companies are offering repair kits designed to address the identified safety risks.
Two Recalled Products Linked to Multiple Injury Reports
The larger recall involves Woodure-branded children’s tower kitchen step stools, covering models WD1764, WD1357, and WD1720. According to the CPSC, about 91,000 units were sold on Amazon between July 2024 and June 2026 for prices ranging from $60 to $100.
The recalled stools are made of plywood and measure approximately 18 inches deep, 16.9 inches wide, and 34.6 inches tall. The model number is engraved on the underside of the bottom step.
According to the CPSC, the products pose a risk of serious injury and death because they can become unstable or tip over during use. Woodure has received 22 reports involving instability or tip-overs, including 15 injuries. Reported injuries consisted of scrapes, cuts, and bruises.
Consumers who own one of the affected stools are instructed to stop using it immediately and store it where children cannot access it. The company is providing a repair kit, and consumers can contact Woodure by phone, email, or through its recall webpage for additional instructions.
The second recall affects HARPPA‘s Nordi Foldable Toddler Tower stools, model HANS0002. The recall covers 47,166 units sold through Harppababy.com and Amazon.com between September 2023 and June 2026 for about $130 each.
HARPPA Towers Recalled Over Collapse, Tip-Over, and Entrapment Risks
According to the recall notice, the HARPPA toddler towers can collapse or tip over while in use. The agency also warned that a child’s torso can fit through the openings on the front and back sides of the product, creating an entrapment hazard that could result in serious injury or death.
The recalled towers were sold in white, black, and blue, each featuring natural wood-colored steps, platforms, and safety bars. They measure about 18 inches deep, 18 inches wide, and 38.6 inches tall. The model number, HANS0002, appears on a label attached to the underside of the platform.
According to the recall notice, HARPPA received three reports of tower stools collapsing or tipping over. Those incidents resulted in two reported injuries involving scrapes, cuts, and bruises.
The CPSC said consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately, keep them away from children, and contact HARPPA for a free repair kit that includes protective nets, stabilizing feet, and installation instructions.
The agency also shared a warning included on the product packaging stating that children have suffered severe head injuries, including skull fractures, after falling from the product, adding that falls can occur suddenly if a child is not properly restrained. Owners of the recalled stools can obtain additional recall information and request the repair kit directly through HARPPA’s official recall channels.
