What Consumers Should Do

Consumers who have purchased any of the above products are advised not to eat them under any circumstances, even if the packaging appears undamaged and the product was stored correctly at home. Returning a recalled product entitles the purchaser to a full refund from the retailer.

The FSA draws a distinction between product withdrawals, in which items are removed from shelves before reaching customers, and recalls, where members of the public are actively asked to return goods already purchased. This incident has been handled at the Product Recall Information Notice level.
