Tesco is expanding its frozen food range with more than 150 new and improved products, giving shoppers a broader selection of meals, desserts, bakery items, fish and branded favourites for the autumn season.
The new products are due to start arriving in Tesco stores from Monday, September 11, with the supermarket positioning the expanded range around easy weekday meals, cosy nights at home, Halloween gatherings and early festive preparations.
Tesco Adds New Autumn Favourites to Frozen Aisles
According to the Express, Tesco is introducing a wide selection of new frozen products as part of its autumn range.
The additions include Finest Thai Green Curry, Finest Barramundi Fillets, Winter Spiced Apple & Pear Crumble, root vegetables with beef dripping and Loaded Pulled Pork Chilli Wedges. Tesco is also adding Naked Chicken Burrito Bowls for customers looking for quick meal options.
The supermarket is also expanding its selection of takeaway-style food, with products such as Takeaway Tandoori Chicken Sizzler Pizza, Loaded Tear & Share Garlic Doughballs and Cheesy Wedges.
Harry Jones, Tesco’s Frozen Category Buying Manager, said the retailer was bringing “over 150 new and improved products” to its autumn frozen range.

New Bakery Products Can Go Straight from Freezer to Oven
Tesco is adding several Finest bakery products designed to be baked at home.
The new selection includes Finest Salted Caramel & Belgian Milk Chocolate Cookies, Triple Chocolate Belgian Cookies, Buttermilk Pancakes and All Butter Croissants.
The products are intended to offer shoppers bakery-style options that can be prepared at home without starting from scratch.
Fish Range Expands Ahead of the Festive Season
The frozen fish section is also receiving new products.
Tesco is launching Finest Barramundi Fillets, Smoked Basa Fillets and Southern Fried Breaded Fish Bites as part of an extended ready-to-cook fish range.
The supermarket is also adding festive options including King Prawn Rings and Lobster, giving customers more seafood choices as the Christmas period approaches.
Seven New Desserts and Nine New Ice Creams
Tesco is introducing seven new frozen desserts and nine new ice creams.
Among the additions are a Black Forest Ice Cream tub, Mini Chocolate Eclairs and Mixed Berry Crumble.
The retailer is also bringing Mr Chen’s dumplings to UK shoppers. The Australian brand’s products will be exclusive to Tesco.
A further addition is Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Sticks, with Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavours scheduled to launch later in September, exclusively at Tesco.
Greggs and Other Familiar Brands Join the Range
Tesco is expanding its selection of branded frozen food with new products from several well-known names.
The range includes New York Bakery 2 Stuffed Pizza Bagels Manhattan Pepperoni Melts, aimed at lunchtime or snack occasions, along with Blue Dragon Ready Meals such as Chinese Chicken Chow Mein Noodles and Sweet & Sour Chicken with Egg Rice.
An expanded selection of Greggs products will also be available, including Bacon & Cheese Wraps, Mini Steak Rolls and Mini Sausage Rolls.
Tesco said the broader range is designed to give customers more options for quick meals, snacks, desserts and occasions at home, with the new products beginning to arrive from Monday, September 11.
