The discounts are limited to Lidl Plus account holders aged 18 or over and apply at Lidl GB stores while stocks last. According to the Mirror, the reductions include everyday kitchen staples alongside selected meat and fish products, with customers able to access the offers through the retailer’s mobile app.

Lidl Plus Discounts Include Fruit, Vegetables, Meat and Fish

Among the products included in the promotion is celery, which has been reduced from 69p to 32p. That represents a 53% reduction and is one of the largest discounts highlighted as part of the current Lidl Plus offer.

Other products available at reduced prices include a selection of vegetables and fruits, as well as slow-cooked pork products and salmon fillets. The Mirror reports that customers can see the full list of participating products in the “Items Included” section of the Offer area within the Lidl Plus app.

The promotion is scheduled to remain available only until 2 September. Lidl says qualifying offers may be redeemed more than once unless the individual offer states otherwise. Where applicable, the discount will be applied to every qualifying item purchased rather than being restricted to a single unit, although individual terms may vary.

Access to the reductions requires a Lidl Plus account, and users must be aged at least 18. The offers are available across Lidl stores in Great Britain and remain subject to the retailer’s terms and conditions.

Availability may also depend on individual store stock. That means an item displayed as part of the promotion in the app may not necessarily remain available throughout the full offer period at every location.

Loyalty Scheme Forms Part of Lidl’s UK Retail Presence

The temporary discounts come as Lidl continues to operate a large network of stores across the UK. The retailer entered the UK market in 1994 and has since expanded to 1,000 outlets, according to information reported by the Mirror.

Lidl has regularly been identified among Britain’s lower-priced supermarket chains, a position that has formed part of its presence in the UK grocery market. The Lidl Plus scheme gives registered customers access to specific rewards and price reductions through the company’s app.

Use of the loyalty programme has grown among shoppers seeking to make their grocery spending go further, according to the Mirror. The latest set of offers follows that model by placing selected reductions behind Lidl Plus membership rather than making them automatically available to every customer.

For the current promotion, customers need to check the Lidl Plus app to identify which products qualify and whether any additional conditions apply. The retailer states that the offers can generally be used multiple times unless otherwise specified, while each qualifying product receives the relevant reduction where the terms allow it.

The latest discounts remain available until 2 September, after which the current promotion ends. Customers using the scheme during that period remain subject to the stated eligibility requirements, offer conditions and stock availability at individual Lidl GB stores.
