Restaurants and retailers across the United States are marking Father’s Day with a wide range of food discounts, free items, and limited-time promotions. Many of the offers are available only on June 21, while others extend through the following days.

Father’s Day continues to be a major spending occasion for American consumers, with dining and family outings remaining a central part of celebrations. This year’s promotions span national restaurant chains, coffee shops, grocery stores, and food delivery services.

Americans are expected to spend heavily for Father’s Day again in 2026. According to the National Retail Federation‘s annual survey cited by USA Today, Father’s Day spending is projected to reach $27.9 billion this year, with many consumers planning special outings and meals.

Restaurants have responded with a broad mix of offers ranging from free drinks and desserts to discounted entrées and buy-one-get-one promotions. Participation and availability may vary by location, and some deals require loyalty program membership or app-based ordering.

Restaurants Focus On Free Food and Discounted Meals

Several restaurant chains are offering direct discounts on Father’s Day meals. Arby’s is promoting a selection of sliders for $1.99, including roast beef and chicken varieties. TGI Fridays is offering a full rack of ribs with two sides for $19.99, while Buffalo’s Cafe has a $10 Canyon Burger meal that includes fries or chips.

Some brands are providing free meals or entrée incentives specifically for fathers. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s is offering a free meal for dads when another meal of equal or greater value is purchased. Bar Louie is running a buy-one-get-one entrée offer for dine-in guests.

Coffee chains are also participating. Aroma Joe’s is giving fathers a free 24-ounce beverage with no purchase required at participating locations, according to Newsweek. Biggby Coffee customers can receive either a buy-one-get-one-free drink or $1 off a beverage, depending on the promotion selected.

Delivery platforms and loyalty programs are playing a significant role as well. According to USA Today, DoorDash is offering several buy-one-get-one deals for DashPass members, including promotions from Wendy’s, Burger King, Subway, and Popeyes. Jimmy John’s is providing a buy-one-get-one-free toasted sandwich offer for rewards members using a promotional code.

Gift Card Promotions and Retail Offers Expand Holiday Savings

Beyond restaurant meals, many companies are using gift card incentives to attract Father’s Day shoppers. Applebee’s is offering a $10 bonus card with the purchase of a $50 gift card. Similar promotions are available at Buffalo Wild Wings, Carrabba’s Italian Grill, MOD Pizza, Outback Steakhouse, and Jason’s Deli.

Grocery and specialty retailers have introduced separate holiday offers. Stop & Shop is running a buy-one-get-one-free promotion on select Nature’s Promise grass-fed steaks through June 25. The chain is also offering a discount on Hallmark greeting cards when customers purchase two.

Edible Arrangements is providing 15% off selected Father’s Day gift bundles with a promotional code. The offer applies to products including fruit arrangements and gift collections designed for the holiday.

A number of businesses are extending promotions beyond Father’s Day itself. Bojangles’ breakfast buy-one-get-one offer continues through June 22, while other chains have scheduled discounts and rewards that remain available into late June. Consumers interested in taking advantage of these offers are encouraged to review restaurant websites, mobile apps, and loyalty programs before visiting.
