Corte Argentino USA LLC, based in Aventura, Florida, is recalling approximately 29,628 pounds of the products. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, or FSIS, the issue was identified during routine inspection activities. No confirmed illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with the beef.
Beef Entered the United States without Required Reinspection
The recalled raw beef products were produced in Argentina between May 15 and May 20, 2026. They carry use or freeze-by dates ranging from September 15 through September 20, 2026.
According to FSIS, the products were imported “without the benefit of import reinspection into the United States.” Import reinspection takes place after shipments have satisfied requirements administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.
The process includes checks of documentation, labeling, packaging and the general condition of imported products. In some cases, samples may also be examined for contaminants. Products that successfully complete the process can then enter U.S. commerce.
The recall covers several boneless beef cuts packed in cardboard boxes of various weights. They include FrigorIfico Gorina SAIC “Top Sirloin Butt,” also labeled “Cuadril Sin Tapa,” and “Eye Round,” identified as “Peceto.” Other affected products are “Topside Cap Off,” or “Nalga AD S/Tapa,” “Flat,” labeled “Carnaza Cuadrada,” and “Knuckle,” identified as “Bola de Lomo.”
All recalled products bear the Argentinian establishment number “EST. N° OF. 2025” and shipping mark “26644-AA.” They were distributed to distributors and retailers in Florida and Texas.
Consumers Are Being Told Not to Eat the Recalled Products
FSIS said it is concerned that some of the beef could still be stored in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers because the products carry September use or freeze-by dates. Consumers who purchased any of the affected products are being urged not to consume them. According to the agency, the beef should either be thrown away or returned to the place where it was purchased.
There have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury linked to consumption of the recalled products. Anyone who is concerned about a possible illness or injury is advised to contact a healthcare provider.
FSIS also conducts recall effectiveness checks to confirm that companies notify customers and take steps to ensure affected products are no longer available to consumers. When retail distribution lists become available, the agency says they will be posted on its recall website.
