Cosyland has recalled more than 125,000 children’s tower stools sold across the United States after safety regulators warned the products could collapse or tip over during use. The recall follows reports of injuries involving young children, including one fractured arm.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the stools also present an entrapment hazard because a child’s torso can fit through openings on the front and back sides of the structure. Consumers have been told to stop using the products immediately until repair parts are installed.

The recall affects Cosyland-branded children’s tower stools sold on Amazon between April 2021 and November 2025. The products were available in natural bamboo and grey finishes and retailed for around $70.

The warning comes amid wider scrutiny of toddler tower stools after another recall issued last month involving nearly 13,000 similar products across three separate brands.

Safety Concerns Linked to Collapse, Tipping and Entrapment Risks

According to the CPSC recall notice published on 14 May 2026, the affected products include models CS0003 and CS0092-4. The stools measure around 35 inches in height and display the “COSYLAND” branding along the upper rails.

The agency said the stools “can collapse or tip over while in use” and warned that children could become trapped because of the size of the openings on both sides of the structure. The notice stated that these hazards pose a “risk of serious injury and death”.

Cosyland has received 25 reports linked to stability problems and falls, according to information shared by the CPSC. Eight injuries were reported, ranging from cuts and bruises to a fractured arm.

The products were imported by SuzhouGongYeYuanQu Wan Yi Shen Jia MaoYiShangHang, operating as Cosyland Official, based in China. The stools were manufactured in China and distributed online through Amazon.com. FOX Business reported that Cosyland did not immediately respond to a request for comment following publication of the recall notice.

Consumers Instructed to Stop Use until Repairs Are Completed

Consumers have been instructed to stop using the recalled stools immediately and keep them away from children until repairs are carried out. According to the CPSC, Cosyland is providing free repair kits that include protective nets, stabilising feet and installation instructions.

The company said the replacement parts will be mailed directly to consumers free of charge. Customers can contact Cosyland through a dedicated recall hotline, by email, or via the company’s website to request the repair kit.

The recall follows another action announced by regulators last month involving almost 13,000 toddler towers sold under three separate brands. According to FOX Business, those products were also recalled after reports of collapses and tip-over incidents that resulted in 21 injuries.

Children’s tower stools, often used to help toddlers reach kitchen counters and sinks, have become increasingly common household products in recent years. The latest recall highlights continuing concerns among regulators about the stability and safety of elevated children’s furniture used in domestic settings.

The CPSC has assigned the Cosyland recall the identification number 26-493. Consumers in possession of the affected stools are advised to follow the agency’s instructions and avoid further use until the repair measures are completed.
