The renewed guarantee covers winter 2026\/27, summer 2027, winter 2027\/28 and summer 2028. It applies to both flight-only <\/strong>bookings and package holidays<\/strong>, including those purchased through third-party travel agents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuel surcharges are additional fees that airlines may introduce to offset increases in aviation fuel <\/a>prices. In some circumstances, these charges can be applied after a booking has already been confirmed, leaving passengers facing costs beyond the original quoted price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jet2 says its policy prevents this particular form of additional charge, providing customers with certainty over fuel-related costs when arranging their travel. David Hills<\/strong>, Jet2’s chief customer officer, said customers deserved clarity because of the money they put aside for holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Customers work and save hard for their holidays, so they deserve certainty from the moment they book<\/em>,” he said. Hills added that the company was reaffirming its guarantee to make clear that the price agreed at booking would not subsequently increase through a fuel surcharge.
