The closure affects a business specialising in halal frozen foods, including samosas, kebabs and crispy chicken. Founded in May 2013, Quality Bites supplied retailers, wholesalers and distributors across the UK. Its collapse comes during a year in which several established British retailers and hospitality businesses have ceased trading or announced widespread closures.

According to The Gazette, Quality Bites Limited, registered under company number 08542756, passed a resolution to wind up voluntarily at a general meeting held in Birmingham on 7 October 2026. The meeting initially appointed Craig Povey and Gareth Prince of BTG Consulting plc as joint liquidators. That decision was subsequently replaced following a creditors’ meeting held on the same day.

Creditors instead appointed Deviesh Raikundalia of Hall Chadwick (UK) Limited as liquidator. The formal winding-up resolution and related notices were published in The Gazette on 23 October.

The company’s principal trading address was Unit 4–5, Redhouse Industrial Estate, Middlemore Lane West, Aldridge, Walsall. Its registered office was subsequently listed in Northampton.
