The recall concerns product code 1100265415001, with barcode 5059207039158. According to Asda\u2019s product recall notice dated 22 September 2026<\/strong>, the bag had passed all required tests at the time of shipment, but subsequent testing identified levels of phthalates that may exceed regulatory limits. No safety incidents involving the product have been reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asda said the affected Front Pocket XBody Bag <\/strong>does not meet the requirements of the REACH Regulations. The company is voluntarily withdrawing the product as a precautionary measure following the results of the later testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Certain phthalates are subject to regulatory restrictions. According to Asda, these include Di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, commonly known as DEHP<\/strong>. Prolonged exposure above specified limits may pose potential health risks and could possibly cause damage to the reproductive system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The supermarket said the product successfully passed the required safety tests when it was originally shipped.
