A UK-based online pet supplies company has been shut down after investigators found more than \u00a36.3 million<\/strong> in incoming payments that were not reflected in the company\u2019s filed accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funnyfuzzy Tech UK Co., Ltd<\/strong>, which sold pet products through the website funnyfuzzy.co.uk<\/strong>, was wound up by the High Court<\/strong> on 22 September 2026 following an investigation by The Insolvency Service<\/strong>. The company had faced complaints from customers over missing deliveries, delayed orders, poor-quality products, and difficulties obtaining refunds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The closure follows the shutdown of a previous company operating under the Funnyfuzzy<\/strong> name, which was also wound up in 2024 after an earlier investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigation Finds Millions In Payments Without Company Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to The Insolvency Service<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, Funnyfuzzy Tech UK Co., Ltd filed dormant accounts despite evidence showing that the company received more than \u00a36.3 million<\/strong> in payments between August 2023 and January 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators said the company did not provide business records during the investigation and refused to cooperate, claiming it operated outside the UK. The company had sold products to UK customers and used a UK-based contractor to manage customer returns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation also found uncertainty around the company\u2019s business details. At different points, the website displayed addresses connected to the UK<\/strong>, the United States<\/strong>, China<\/strong>, and Hong Kong<\/strong>. Investigators found no evidence that the company operated from its registered London address on Devonshire Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The latest version of the website was linked to Funnyfuzzy HK Tech Limited<\/strong>, a company registered in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers Report Delivery And Refund Problems<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A number of customers contacted the Insolvency Service<\/strong>, Action Fraud<\/strong>, and Trading Standards<\/strong> to report problems with their orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complaints included products that never arrived, long delivery delays, items described as poor quality, failed refund requests, and difficulties receiving customer support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Investigators also identified repeated changes to company information shown on the website. These changes included updates to company names and addresses, which made it harder for customers to determine the identity of the business they were buying from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation into Funnyfuzzy Tech UK Co., Ltd also followed concerns that the company was operating in a similar way to its predecessor, Funnyfuzzy UK Co., Ltd<\/strong>, which was closed in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Insolvency Service Warns Against Repeated Company Closures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mark George, Chief Investigator at the Insolvency Service<\/strong>, said the agency was working to prevent companies from continuing similar operations through new entities after previous businesses had been shut down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThose behind this company would appear to be doing all they can to ignore UK company laws to make significant amounts of money with seemingly no care for their customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are doing all we can to stop those who do this from simply continuing the same objectionable business model via a different entity after a previous company has been shut down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTransfer of ownership of a website can cause difficulties in getting the website closed down, however, the Insolvency Service will continue to work with partners to disrupt such trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis latest success is a message to those thinking about trading in a similar manner that we are watching and we will investigate.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Court Orders Closure Of Funnyfuzzy Tech UK<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The company<\/a> was incorporated on 25 July 2023<\/strong> under company number 15028095<\/strong>. It was later wound up in the public interest under section 124A of the Insolvency Act 1986<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is being handled by the Official Receiver\u2019s Public Interest Unit<\/strong>, which is responsible for dealing with matters connected to the company\u2019s affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shutdown represents the second intervention involving a company linked to the Funnyfuzzy<\/strong> brand in two years.
