The scheme replaces the temporary \u00a35 congestion charge<\/strong> currently used in parts of the city and introduces automatic enforcement through automatic number plate recognition (ANPR)<\/strong> cameras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Restrictions Will Cover Six Oxford Locations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new rules will apply at six traffic filter points across Oxford, including Hythe Bridge Street<\/em>, St Cross Road<\/em>, St Clement\u2019s Street<\/em> and Thames Street<\/em>. These locations will operate between 7am and 7pm every day<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two additional filters, located on Marston Ferry Road<\/em> and Hollow Way<\/em>, will have shorter operating periods. They will be active from 7am to 9am<\/strong> and from 3pm to 6pm<\/strong>, Monday to Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
