Rochdale Council has introduced a new package of cost of living support after councillors approved additional funding aimed at helping residents experiencing financial pressure. Around \u00a315 million will be invested over the next three years <\/strong>through the government\u2019s Crisis and Resilience Fund (CRF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The funding is designed to provide immediate assistance to low-income households facing financial shocks while also supporting services that can help people manage household costs over time. According to Rochdale Council<\/strong>, the programme replaces the previous Household Support Fund and represents the first multi-year funding settlement for locally delivered crisis support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The new support package will include emergency payments for residents experiencing a financial crisis, assistance with keeping homes warm, debt and welfare <\/a>support, housing assistance, help with food and other goods, and access to free warm spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Crisis and Resilience Fund is a three-year government-funded programme focused on helping households experiencing financial difficulty.
