According to Moneyfactscompare.co.uk finance expert Rachel Springall<\/a>, the \u00a3240 switching payment could appeal to customers looking for additional financial support after the summer period. She said the account offers a straightforward option for everyday banking, though customers must complete specific requirements to qualify.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To receive the payment, customers need to open the Everyday Current Account, request a switch using the Current Account Switch Service<\/strong> before 7 October 2026, and complete the switch within 60 days. They must also have at least two qualifying household direct debits and pay in \u00a31,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Customers are also required to fund a Santander Regular Saver account with at least \u00a3200 within 60 days of their switch request.
