The recall covers a 23cm, or nine-inch, white table fan sold between March and July 2026. According to the Office for Product Safety and Standards, the affected appliance is the B&Q Table Fan model FT23A<\/strong>, carrying barcode 5063022605689. The three batch numbers covered by the recall are 25W50, 26W05 and 26W11. The regulator has classified the product as presenting a medium level of risk. Its assessment found that a fault within the fan\u2019s oscillation mechanism can damage internal wiring, creating the possibility of electric shock and fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The OPSS said the product \u201cpresents a risk of electric shock and fire as there is a fault within the oscillation mechanism that can damage internal wiring<\/em>\u201d.
