The offer is available until 3 February 2026 and applies only to newly opened Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver, or Club Lloyds Platinum accounts.

The campaign marks what Lloyds has described as its “best ever switching deal“, designed to incentivise account moves at the start of the year. In a financial environment where banks are competing more directly for new customers, Lloyds’ latest move seeks to reinforce its position within the retail banking market.

£250 Switching Bonus with Added Benefits

Lloyds Bank has confirmed that customers who open a new Club Lloyds account between 6 January and 3 February 2026 and complete a full switch from another bank will receive a £250 bonus. The process must be completed using the Current Account Switch Service, and the switch must include at least three active direct debits. Club Lloyds carries a £5 fee, which may be waived under certain conditions, while Club Lloyds Silver and Platinum accounts carry fees of £11.50 and £22.50 respectively, plus the potential £5 Club Lloyds fee. To be eligible, customers must not have received a switching bonus from Lloyds, Halifax, or Bank of Scotland since 1 January 2023. Additionally, those switching from Halifax or Bank of Scotland are excluded from the offer.

The accounts offer several lifestyle perks. According to Lloyds, customers can select one annual benefit from options including a 12-month Disney+ subscription (Standard with Ads), Vue or Odeon cinema tickets, a digital Coffee Club and Gourmet Society membership, or a magazine subscription. Lloyds estimates the average value of these benefits at £65 per year.

In addition to lifestyle perks, Club Lloyds customers benefit from features such as no debit card fees when spending abroad, access to preferential travel money exchange rates, and a ‘Best Price Guarantee’ on Lloyds Travel Booking. Standing orders, recurring card payments, and direct debits added after the switch has been initiated will not qualify. Only one bonus payment will be made per customer, including joint accounts.

Lloyds is not the only bank currently offering incentives for account switches.
