The cases include lawsuits against major corporations such as mastercard<\/strong>, apple<\/strong>, and Marks & Spencer<\/strong>, as well as action over secret insurance commissions and potential payouts linked to historic energy bill overcharges<\/strong>. According to the Financial Vonduct Authority (FCA<\/a>), the redress for car finance mis-selling alone could cost banks between \u00a39 billion and \u00a318 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Car Finance Scandal and Consumer Redress<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The FCA<\/strong> announced it will consult on a compensation scheme next year for motorists affected by mis-sold car finance agreements.
