The Met Office is forecasting a mixed weather pattern for this weekend, with some regions expecting heavy rain, hail, and thunderstorms.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, other parts of the UK will experience cooler conditions, with overcast skies and occasional showers. However, as the week progresses, temperatures are expected to climb again, setting the stage for a third potential <strong>heatwave <\/strong>of the summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Thunderstorms to Disrupt Travel in Parts of the UK<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Met Office, the yellow warning for thunderstorms will be in place from <strong>7am to 7pm<\/strong> on Sunday, primarily affecting the East of England.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The unsettled weather could bring up to <strong>two inches of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.econostrum.info\/uk\/met-office-warning-25-counties-rain-storm\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"110242\">rain<\/a><\/strong>, with <strong>electric storms<\/strong> and <strong>hail<\/strong> likely to create hazardous driving conditions. Petagna pointed out that temperatures across <strong>England and Wales<\/strong> are likely to climb back into the <strong>low 30s<\/strong> by next weekend, which would meet the criteria for a heatwave\u2014defined as three consecutive days of temperatures above <strong>regional benchmarks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Met Office also noted that the exact length and intensity of the warm spell remain uncertain, with humidity expected to rise, making conditions feel more uncomfortable, particularly at night.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As <strong>Petagna<\/strong> cautioned:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p> \u201cIt looks like we will meet heatwave criteria again by the end of the week.
