This new offering includes a leased BYD Dolphin, a fully V2G-ready electric vehicle, alongside a Zaptec Pro bi-directional charger, and access to a smart tariff that provides free home charging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By integrating V2G technology directly into the vehicles, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.econostrum.info\/uk\/octopus-unveils-zero-bills-homes\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"108753\">Octopus<\/a> Energy has removed the need for costly first-generation charging systems, making the package more affordable and accessible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V2G transforms EVs into &#8220;<strong>batteries on wheels<\/strong>,&#8221; allowing drivers to charge their vehicles when electricity costs are low and feed power back into the grid during peak periods.
