The TV Licensing authority explains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;You can apply for a free TV Licence if you, as the licence holder, are 75 years or older <strong>AND<\/strong> you, or your partner living at the same address, receive Pension Credit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>This early application ensures that <strong>once the claimant turns 75, their licence will be fully covered<\/strong> without interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Is Pension Credit and Why Does It Matter?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pension Credit<\/strong> is a government benefit designed to <strong>top up the income<\/strong> of retirees with <strong>low weekly earnings<\/strong>.
