The company’s Priority app, long known for member perks, becomes a digital advent calendar this season. Every Monday, new rewards are unlocked, and with more than 300,000 prizes being given out, O2 is making a clear statement about customer appreciation at year’s end.
Hundreds of Thousands of Prizes for Priority Members
This December, the Blue Mondays initiative will deliver a broad range of perks to customers who use the Priority platform. According to the official announcement from Virgin Media O2, the December-only rewards include high-value experiences such as family holidays to New York City, tickets to Disneyland Paris, and £100 Ticketmaster vouchers, along with smaller but widely accessible giveaways.
Notable among the experiences is a Home Alone-themed trip to New York, and tickets to the opening of World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris, both offered as prize draws. Meanwhile, customers can also enter to win a £20 Virgin Experience Days voucher, which can be redeemed for a variety of activities, from spa visits to adrenaline-based adventures.
For users who don’t win the headline prizes, O2 has ensured there’s still something to enjoy. According to the company, every Monday in December, thousands of users will receive a code for a complimentary Lindt Lindor Milk Treat Bar. In addition, members can redeem a Sweet Treat from Greggs, including doughnuts or muffins, and collect a £3 M&S gift card, suitable for festive snacks or chocolate.
The campaign also includes access to premium entertainment. Winners of a separate draw will receive VIP tickets to Sleeping Beauty at The London Palladium, seated in the Royal Circle with lounge access, complimentary drinks and snacks.
10GB Data Boost for Millions Amid Rising Usage
Alongside physical rewards, Virgin Media O2 is gifting 10GB of free mobile data to millions of its mobile customers this month. The additional data will be automatically added to eligible customers’ December allowance at no extra cost.
The move comes in response to the growing demand for mobile connectivity. According to Ofcom’s 2025 Connected Nations Report, the UK saw an 18% increase in mobile data usage over the past year, reaching over 1.2 billion GB per month, equivalent to roughly 315 billion TikToks or 1.3 quadrillion WhatsApp messages.
In a statement shared by the network, Christian Hindennach, Chief Commercial Officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “For many of our customers this time of year is all about feeling close to the people who matter most, and we want to make that easier than ever.” He added that the 10GB data boost is intended to support customers in “streaming their favourite festive films, gaming or video calling friends and family they aren’t able to be with.”
The data bonus will not require any activation on the part of the customer, and is intended to ensure that users can remain connected throughout the busy holiday season, whether for work, entertainment or staying in touch with loved ones.
