The downsizing has already led to approximately 250 job losses, and more may follow as further changes are implemented. Customers in the affected areas will need to seek alternative dealership locations for servicing, purchasing, and warranty-related concerns.

According to Car Dealer Magazine, an Arnold Clark spokesperson confirmed the deal, stating: “Arnold Clark can confirm the takeover of the Evans Halshaw Vauxhall dealership in Edinburgh and will begin trading this week.” The transition has already begun, with the dealership now operating under the Arnold Clark banner.
The acquisition of this location represents a strategic expansion for Arnold Clark, which continues to grow its presence in key areas while other dealership networks are downsizing.
