Discount supermarket Aldi is getting a head start on the Black Friday rush this year by releasing its SpecialBuys range in stores from Thursday 6 November. The offers cover a wide variety of products, from fitness equipment and beauty gadgets to children’s toys and home tech, all positioned at prices that aim to undercut mainstream retailers. While Black Friday officially lands on 28 November, Aldi’s early move is designed to attract shoppers preparing early for Christmas, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.

Among the highlights of Aldi’s Black Friday selection is a range of beauty and self-care products that aim to replicate the functionality of premium brands at a fraction of the cost. The Straight Air Styler (£49.99), for instance, promises to dry and straighten hair in one motion, offering four temperature settings, motion detection and a slim design for styling precision.

Another notable item is the Foldable Styler (£49.99), a high-speed hot air brush equipped with five attachments including long barrels and smoothing brushes. Aldi also reintroduces its LED Face Mask (£9.99), featuring seven light settings each targeting different skin concerns—from fine lines and redness to acne and inflammation.

The wellness collection extends to a Premium Hairdryer (£24.99) in gold or chrome, with LED indicators, magnetic attachments and a matching storage bag. Additional items like the LED Neck Massager and LED Eye Massager (both £9.99) round out the offer, showing Aldi’s push into affordable personal tech.
