The ability to view SSNs online is expected to be especially beneficial for those who have lost or had their SSN card stolen, eliminating the need for in-person appointments or waiting for a replacement card to be mailed.
The new feature will be available to all my Social Security account holders, both on desktop and mobile platforms.
