Services Australia has published the updated Centrelink payment schedule for June 2025, detailing disbursement dates and eligibility criteria for a wide range of social benefits. The information includes fixed fortnightly rates for Age Pension, Disability Support Pension, Youth Allowance, JobSeeker and other essential support programmes.

These benefits are designed to support low and middle-income Australians, with payments adjusted in response to inflation and the increased cost of living. The June schedule follows changes introduced on 20 March 2025, now fully in effect for all recipients.

Key Figures and Eligibility Across Centrelink’s Main Payments

According to Services Australia, the Age Pension continues to be paid fortnightly to Australians aged 67 and above who meet the relevant income and asset tests.

As of June 2025, single pensioners receive $1,149.10 per fortnight, comprising a base rate of $1,051.30, a pension supplement of $83.60 and an energy supplement of $14.10. Couples, whether living together or apart, receive a combined fortnightly total of $1,732.20.

For those living with long-term disabilities, the Disability Support Pension (DSP) remains available to individuals over 16 whose condition significantly limits their capacity to work. Payments vary depending on age, independence and family status.

For example, independent recipients aged under 21 receive $822.60, while dependent individuals under 18 receive $569.60.

The JobSeeker Payment is allocated to unemployed individuals aged 22 or above. The standard rate for a single person is $781.10 per fortnight, rising to $836.50 for those with a dependent child or aged 55 and over. Couples receive $715.10 each. For those meeting mutual obligation requirements, the benefit increases to $1,011.50.

Support for younger Australians is delivered through the Youth Allowance, aimed at full-time students, apprentices and jobseekers aged between 16 and 24. Single individuals receive $410.30, while those living away from home receive $663.30 fortnightly.

Lump Sum and Targeted Support for Carers and Specific Family Circumstances

In addition to recurring benefits, Centrelink provides lump sum payments in specific cases. According to Services Australia, a Stillborn Baby Payment of $4,225.10 is granted to eligible families receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A, with no concurrent entitlement to Parental Leave Pay.

For parents caring for children with severe or prolonged disabilities, the Carer Payment offers a lump sum of $10,000 per child, based on the level of care required and family circumstances.

Each of these benefits is subject to strict eligibility criteria. Payments are made directly into recipients’ bank accounts, and all amounts remain unchanged since the last adjustment in March 2025. Regular disbursements continue on a fortnightly cycle throughout June.
