ITALY. GSE Italia announces, on Monday 19 October 2020, the delivery in Mesero (Lombardy, 20 km west of Milan) of a 48,200 m² multifunctional logistics platform built for Fondo CER-L. The platform, which can accommodate several tenants, will be managed by Carlyle Real Estate SGR.

Construction began in mid-September 2019, with delivery scheduled for mid-July 2020. After a construction stoppage of one and a half months (from mid-March to early May 2020), it now houses 1,200 sqm of office space and handling and storage facilities divided into two cells of approximately 23,500 sqm each. Two entrances are available with a total of forty-eight loading bays and forty-six car parking spaces for twenty-eight truck parking spaces.

The Italian subsidiary of the French group GSE (€554m turnover and 450 employees in 2019) worked in a joint venture on this project with Confluence, a GSE group company.

The platform is located at the intersection of the A4 Turin-Milan and the A8 Milan-Varese, towards Milan-Malpensa airport.
