GREECE / CYPRUS. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) appoints Andreea Moraru as Head of Operations for Greece and Cyprus. Based in Athens, this Romanian, who joined the bank in 2001, will replace Sabina Dziurman, who is retiring in November 2019.
Prior to joining the EBRD, Andreea Moraru headed the Capital Markets Department in the Romanian Ministry of Finance. She is currently Senior Banker in the Financial Institutions Team at the European Bank.
"She has been instrumental in leading and structuring a wide range of debt and equity projects, as well as developing leasing, covered bonds and PNP (Editor's note: non-performing loans) activities in countries where the EBRD is present," a statement said.
